Bronze edge handrail

The bronze edge handrail combines a pared down, understated design with the timeless feel of patinated bronze.

The 3 metre handrail is forged from marine grade stainless steel with a thermal bronze sprayed finish. The marks from the forging process have been intentionally left to give a tactile feel as your hand moves down the stairs. Rather than using conventional brackets we have hot punched though the stainless steel section and hot riveted  a tenon into the swelling. This gives a super strong fixing to the wall and highlights the process and techniques involved in making this piece.
