Wheat and Scythes sculptural railings

These sculptural blacksmith railings were commissioned for the garden of a Sussex Barn. This fantastic garden flows straight on to the rolling downland beyond. The client was keen for a design with an agricultural influence. Our hand forged railing runs for 35m along the boundary, heavy “scythe” forgings support the gate and long slender tapers with riveted heads of wheat complete the look. Sussex 2013.
